Holy Name Cathedral

The Loop, Chicago

A Preview

"Look up at this beautiful cathedral. Holy Name Cathedral, built in 1875, rebuilt after a fire in 1914. Gorgeous, right? Very holy. Very sacred. It's also where a man was shot in the head right out front. On November 10th, 1924, Dean O'Banion—the leader of the North Side Gang before Bugs Moran—was murdered inside his flower shop, which was directly across the street from this cathedral."
